San Jose Mischief

Meeting

Tris' POV:

We landed a few hours later in the wonderful city of San Jose, and I was a nervous wreak. I did not want to tell the team about this case, heck, some are still traumatized from the shifter.

Anyhow, my sister says to me, "You have to wake Robertson up."

"How did I get stuck with this job?"

She smiled and said, "Shannon, you haven't been here for very long, but whenever we try to wake him up, well, let's just say an unspoken rule is thou shall not provoke the beast."

"That bad?"

"Yep." As she moved towards the front of the plane, she yelled, "Good luck, Tris."

I noticed that many of the players followed her, as if she was a herder and the players were her sheep. It was kinda comical, until I saw that players had their devices out, ready to film his reaction. Can't be that bad, but who knows?

Well, might as well, give them what they came for. I lightly tapped Kay on the shoulder and said, "Wake up, we're in San Jose."

He responded, "Just a few more minutes." I looked at the players and they just tried not to laugh as Kay said, "Can't a guy get some sleep around here? First the 'Sky Song,' now this? Coach, I think the team is trying to deprive me of sleep."

"Kay, I'm serious. We landed in San Jose. You can sleep when we get to the hotel. And I'm not on the team."

"Not moving. Too tired." He rolled over away from me. Time to take drastic measures.

"Kay! Wake up, you lazy bum! You've been asleep for over a year now! You missed it!"

"Missed what?" I winked at the team and smiled.

"You slept right through the team winning Lord Stanley against the Leafs! I got to touch it! Me! And you didn't because you're a lazy bum, Kay!"

He shot up out of his position and looked at me, "I missed that!" I put my hand over my mouth to cover up my giggle with a cough. The guys started cracking up as Kay said, "Wait...we never won the Cup? Tris..."

I grabbed my bags as I slowly moved up front, towards my sister and said, "Well, I had to get you up somehow, lazy bum!"

The team lost it, and I joined in on the laughter. I then turned on my phone and saw a message pop up from Team Freewill: 'We're at the gate waiting for you.'

The nerves of the situation at hand hit me like a huge wave of water. I had to face my fear and conquer it, like any hero. So, I walked off of the plane, with my head held high. I was the first member to come off of the plane, and it sure was a good thing I came off.

I saw Sam, Dean, and Castiel surrounded by...land sharks? And watery blob things? I yelled out to the boys and the bad guys, "Well, didn't expect a welcoming crew!" I took out my Angel Blade and started to attack the blobs surrounding Team Freewill.

My attack with my blade didn't even make them flinch, so I had to resort to a different type of attack: Lightning. I put my blade away and I yelled at Team Freewill, "Duck down! Get down!"

Castiel said to me, "Why?"

Thank goodness he listened to me anyway and ducked, because I zapped one of the sharks that was about to attack Castiel. I just held out my right hand and focused on destroying that water monster with lightning.

Next thing I know, I was against the wall after hearing a big booming noise, almost similar to thunder. And all of the monsters were gone! All that was left was a huge puddle of water around Team Freewill. I looked around in shock and saw that my right hand had a faint glow around it. The glow was similar to my Grace when I first received it: purple-pinkish color. Well, this is a little bit odd. I hope the guys didn't see that.

Sure enough, I turn around behind me and I see my sister and the Predators staring at me with pure shock written all over their faces. I turn towards Sam, Dean, and Castiel, and they all were shocked too, but in a different way. Cas spoke to me and said, "I didn't know that you had magic, Ani."

"Well, before you came Cassie, I had to do some form of magic to protect myself while healing others. I got bored, so I learned the tricks of basic elements:fire, blizzard, water, lightning, and healing powers come from Earth magic, so a little bit of that too."

I turned towards the Preds and my sister, "Well, I'm sorry if I scared you guys again. Again, what's normal for me isn't normal for all of you. I keep forgetting that."

The only person that responded was Kay, "I think I'm finally awake now."

I have some major explaining to do to the Preds once I meet up with the Winchesters and Cas. This trip is going to be a long trip.

Notes

Happy All Star Break to everyone! Hopefully everyone is enjoying it!

Well, I finally updated this story! Sorry for the crazy schedule, but life happens. Not in a bad way for me, but I am so busy with school and family and a lot of other stuff.

How will Tris deal with Team Freewill? What will the team react to her new powers? Find out soon!

Also, in case any of you, the readers, were wondering, the Sky Song is based off of Spongebob Squarepants' Road Song. I would recommend to listen to that while reading the Sky Song.
