"We're here!" Carrie said as the girls got to the rental home they'd be staying in for the Summer. "This place looks nice. I'm so glad Uncle Jeff was able to rent it out to us."

"Yeah, you'll have to thank him again from me." Tiana said. "Laci, wake up. We're here."

Laci stirred awake and stretched, climbing out of the car and following the other girls inside looking around. "This place is really nice. Your uncle is great, Car." she said

Carrie nodded "It's three bedroom so we will each get to pick a room and get changed to go out to lunch with my aunt and uncle." she explained "Tomorrow my cousin, Katie, is going to take us shopping!"

"Sounds great!" Tiana said excitedly running down the hall "I pick this room!" she laughed

"Do you want this one? Or that one?" Carrie asked

"I'll take this one." Laci replied setting her bag on the bed. Carrie smiled and sat her bag on the bed in the room across from Laci's. Laci quickly changed her outfit and waited in the living room for the other two girls to get ready.

"Everyone ready?" Carried asked "I'll text my Aunt and let her know we are on our way to the restaurant." she said sending a quick text "There we go. Ti, are you ready?"

"Yep!" Tiana called heading out of her room and following the other two to the car.

Carrie put an address into her GPS and drove to the restaurant. She found a spot and they headed inside, "Carrie!" he aunt called coming over to them and hugging her

"Hi, Aunt Carol."

"Hey kiddo!" Uncle Jeff said hugging her

"Thanks so much for renting the place out to us." Tiana smiled

"Yeah, thank-you!" Laci added

"Oh no problem, girls."

"Mrs. Connery? Your table is ready." the waiter said leading them to the table

"Where is Katie?" Carrie asked

"Oh she's in the bathroom."

"Carrie!" Katie called running up to them and hugging each of the girls

"I missed you!" Carrie laughed

"I missed you too! Tiana, Laci! How are you two?"

"Great, girl. I feel like I haven't seen you in forever." Tiana laughed

"Hey, Ti. Will you please order me a water? I'm gunna run to the bathroom." Laci said getting up and heading to the restrooms. She was looking down at her feet when she smacked into someone, falling to the floor.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry. Are you alright?"

Laci looked up and saw a tall dark haired guy starring at her, "I think so..." she stammered

The guy held out his hand to her, helping her up. "I'm so sorry...I wasn't paying attention." the guy said

"No no. It's not your fault. I was looking down." Laci said looking up at him. He had a soft smile and the bluest eyes she'd over seen. He was a lot taller than her. Laci guessed him at about 6'4.

"Hi. My names Tom. What's yours?" he asked

"Uh..Laci."

"Are you sure?" he laughed

Laci blushed "Yes."

Tom smiled "Well, it was nice bumping into you , Laci. Maybe we can do it again?" Laci just blinked at him. Was this guy for real? Guys like him had never given her a second glance. "Could I get your number?" he asked

"Yeah." Laci smiled "Um...I don't have a pen."

Tom smiled, pulling a pen from his pocket and handing it to her. She quickly jotted her number down on his hand, "Thanks. I'll hit you up some time."

"Willy, are you coming?" another guy asked walking up

"Yeah. Bye Laci." Tom smiled following the other guy out the door

"Bye..." Laci replied running to the bathroom. She glanced herself over in the mirror. Had that really just happened? Tom looked like the kind of guy that normally hit on Carrie. Not on her. He was tall, gorgeous and those eyes. She couldn't get his stare out of her head. Laci splashed her face with water and hurried back to the table

"Everything okay, Laci?" Carrie asked "You were gone for a while."

"Yeah. Yeah everything's fine." Laci smiled. Feeling her phone buzz. An unknown number was texting her.

-Hey this is Tom. Just wanted to say hi and give you my number.
Laci- Hi.
Tom- So I'm assuming you're busy with dinner so I just will ask you one quick question.
Laci- What's that?
Tom- Can I call you later?
Laci- Yeah. I'll let you know when I'm free.
Tom- Sweet:) I'll be waiting.

Laci smiled and put her phone back into her pocket, "What are you smiling about, Laci?" Tiana asked

"Yeah! Are you talking to a guy?" Carrie asked

"Yeah." Laci smiled

"Oh my god, who?" Carrie asked

"I don't know...I just met him on the way to the bathroom."

"You met him on the way to the bathroom and he asked for your number?" Tiana asked

"Yeah."

"Girl, what if he's a weirdo?" Tiana said

"He seemed nice."

"Well, still. Be careful, Laci." Carrie added. Laci nodded, but at that time, she wasn't even thinking about that.
