Knocked Down, Rise Above

Chapter 4

Cassie was sitting watching tv with Sid’s legs on her lap still he had been asleep a little over an hour when he woke up and sat up

"Hey” Cassie says

“God” Sid says

"Sid what's wrong” Cassie asks

"Just a headache probably laying wrong down here” Sid says

“Well you should go lay in bed then” Cassie says

“Yeah will you come lay with me” Sid asks he wasn't feeling at all well but didn't want to worry Cassie yet

"I will but Sid are you ok” Cassie asks

“Yeah it's just a headache but I don't know and I just want someone with me” Sid says

“Ok come on let's get you laying down” Cassie says

"Good idea” Sid says he was just feeling off but thank god made it to his room and bed without showing Cassie anything off or to worry about.

Cassie knew him too well and knew something was off she sat on the bed beside him and says “Sidney”

“Ok I am just feeling off but can we just let me sleep and see how things seem in the morning if it's still like this we will worry and get it looked at” he says

"Ok as long as you promise” Cassie says

“I promise I know if something up I have to do it ok really I am going to be fine now lay down here please “ Sid says

Cassie laid down cuddling up to him she was worried about him he was her best friend and she lied to herself a lot but he was more than that really just she never could admit that. After a few minutes she still wasn't asleep

"Cass sleep please” Sid says

"How did you know I was awake” Cassie says

“Remember I know you better than anyone and your tense relax sleep” Sid says

“I am just worried what if” Cassie says she been thru a lot of his injuries with him and didn't want to think about if this was like before

"Hey we don't know what if anything wrong now come on sleep please” Sid says he was already nervous and then her tense and worried about him made him worry about her Finally after another few minutes she relaxed laying her head on his chest falling asleep once she was asleep right there with him he was able to fall asleep

Cassie woke the next morning Sid was already out of bed she saw the bathroom door was half open she heard the shower running but saw Sid was still dressed sitting by it

“Hey if your not going to get in let's turn off the water ok” Cassie says

“It's not that I am not going to get in I been trying to for a bit now “ Sid says closing his eyes Cassie kneels in front of him and says

"Sid talk to me”

"It's worse a lot worse than last night” he says

“Ok time to talk to trainers and get checked out” Cassie says

“I know you're right god damn it” he says

“Hey let's just get you checked out and see ok” Cassie says

“Yeah” Sid says Cassie brought him his phone so he could call the trainers then after they finally were dressed she got him in the car and drove them to the arena

She was worried and scared for him and knew he had to be worried and scared too After meeting with the trainers he finally came back out where she was waiting

“Well” Cassie asks

"We going to pull me from today game and go from there run some tests to see” he said with a look on his face she knew all too well many emotions in on that look he had Scared, lost, dejected along with worry and concern the Captain was letting his team down

"Hey it's going to be ok you will get through this and I am here beside you all the way you know this” Cassie says All he could do was pull her into a huge hug and hold tight and not let go right now that's all that make him feel Safe.

Ok for all my readers that have been great to look at this new story today I thank you and for you all at least one more chapter for today. This brings us to the starts of some drama but I promise it's not all Drama either but this is getting to the good stuff to come :)
