It all started in Dallas

Sidney and you were back on track after the little argument y’all had at the bar. Sid was seein that you weren't usin him for what he has, you learned that Sid wasn’t like all the other guys just usin you for what you were. Both of you were hurt in the past in different ways but were learnin to trust each other.
Sid kept his word on cookin dinner since he had lost the bet on the Pats game. You were headin over to his place for the first time, which made you a little nervous as you didn’t want Sid to think that you were ready to have sex. In fact since Sid’s surprise kiss at Phil’s, you guys hadn’t kissed yet.
You went in to Sid’s private neighborhood, the place was huge which kind of creeped you out as you thought of scary movies. However, it was very stunnin with how Sid had it simply decorated but with great taste.
You brought a pack of beer as you felt awkward coming over empty-handed.
You had dressed casual as you had just gotten out of work but you didn’t feel the need to change, if Sid was goin to like you it was goin to be for you bein yourself.
When Sid opened the door for you, the house smelled delicious, both from the scent and the food that Sid was cookin.
Sid felt your awkwardness as he told you to make yourself at home.
“(Y/N), you don’t have to tip-toe around hahaa” he teased you
“I’m not, I’m just not used to this”
“Well make yourself comfortable or you can help me finish dinner”
“UH no, that was your bet Mr. Crosby, I’m not cookin hahaha” you said as you sat on the chair next to the island in the kitchen.
You watched Sid cook as you felt your phone buzzin. You ignored the first few calls but then answered as it was Jake. He wasn’t one to call back-to-back so you decided to answer on the next one.
“Hey whats up J?”
“Hey uhmmm sorry I know you’re at Sid’s but I wanted to see if you wanted to invite him and the team to see Justice League 2 with us?”
“Uhh yeah sure I’ll ask him and then let you know”
“Let me know soon because I just found a good discount but it expires tomorrow!”
“Copy that J”
“Have fun (Y/N) but wear protection” Jake said laughin hysterically
“Oh MY GOD JAKE STOP YOU’RE ON FUCKIN SPEAKER” you said embarrassed as you hung up.
You could see Sid tryin not to lose it but he couldn’t hold in his laughter, stoppin him from stirrin the salad that he was making.
“It’s not funny Sidney” you said avoidin eyes
“That was pretty funny, Jake’s not so innocent after all hahaha” he said still laughin
“So movies, Thursday night?”
“Why Thursday, I thought it came out on Friday?”
“It does dork but we don’t mess around so we’re goin to the midnight premiere, or is that past your bedtime?”
“Oh shut up haha count me in for sure, I’ll text the guys right now you know because of the discount ahah”
Sid and you enjoyed a nice dinner, you were surprised at how delicious Sid had cooked.
Sid asked you about your day as you told him it had gone well. He went a little deeper in things you’ve done on your job.
“Have you killed anyone (Y/N)?” he asked cautiously
“Nope not yet” you said brutally honest
“Would you?”
“I mean if my brothers lives depended on it then yeah not only would I kill someone but I’d give up my own for them”
Sid didn’t know how to respond to that so he changed the subject
“Any plans for the holidays?”
“Thanksgivin with my sis out in the South and Christmas with my parents in California, you?”
“With my family out in Nova Scotia, New Years?”
“Here, can’t have all the holidays off right?”
“Same, if you’d like you can come with me to our team’s party”
“Yeah we’ll see” if we’re still datin by then, “this is delicious by the way, you should lose more bets hahah”
“Whatever, anytime you’d like, that is in me cooking for you”
You offered to do the dishes as Sid had cooked, he had a dishwasher but you didn’t really trust them to clean well so you did it on your own. Sid in the meantime was on the couch lookin for a movie to watch
“What do you like?” he asked from the couch
“Uhhh anythin, mostly action, if you haven’t noticed haha”
“Welllll we can watch the Avengers, Captain America, or your favorite, Wonder Woman.” he smirked
“HA HA, lets change it up how about, Man of Steel, por favor, it’ll get me in the mood for Thursday night”.
After you had finished doin the dishes you sat next on the couch, on the other side from Sid.
“You know, I don’t bite (Y/N)” he said smilin
“I know but I’m too comfy to move haha” that was a lie, I don’t want to instigate somethin that doesn’t include watchin a movie
Sid got up a bit and scooted down right next to you, puttin his arm around you.
“Well now I see why someone wanted to watch this” Sid said, hintin towards Super Man bein shirtless.
“Ooh shush it, this is a great movie”
“Mmhmm” said Sid as he turned to stare at you
You continued watchin the movie but still felt his gaze on you
“What?” you said not lookin at him
“Nothing, you’re just so stunning” he said sincerely.
You turned to look at him when he put his hand on your cheek and leaned in for a kiss.
Your heart was beatin faster as you two continued kissin, Sid grabbed your hips and put you on his lap. When things were gettin more heated you caught yourself.
“Sidney I can’t” you said
“What kiss me?”
“You know damn well what I’m talkin about” you said as you got up from his lap and made a way towards your purse.
“Look it’s gettin late, I should get goin but I’ll let you know about Thursday”
“(Y/N) I’m not pressurin you into anythin am I?” Sid asked innocently
“No Sidney, honestly it’s mostly me overthinkin things, look I haven’t dated anyone in a while, let alone slept with anyone in like 4 years, so I don’t want to rush into anythin especially that aspect of dating. You’ve been very respectful, I was afraid of comin here thinkin that you’d only want one thing.” you said honestly
“It sucks that you think I’m that guy but I’m going to show you that I’m not, I’m much more than a hockey player in the way of dating, I’m not going to cheat on you or only use you for one thing. I know I’m just telling you this but I’m going to show you as well” he said as he grabbed your hands and kissed them, “Now would you like to finish the movie, I promise not to kiss you anymore” he said tryin not to laugh
“Okay Sidney but keep your hands to yourself” you said as he raised his hands in a I’m-not-guilty way.
Halfway through the movie you feel asleep on Sid’s chest with Sid followin next in knockin out. When you woke up you checked your phone to see the time and saw that it was 3am. You had a few missed calls and a recent text from Jake. You texted him back to let him know that you were doin well. You got up and moved Sid so he could sleep comfortably, you went to sleep on the smaller couch and knocked out. Trust him, he means well.
