It all started in Dallas

"Hey look at you, its not that cold (Y/N)" he said makin fun of you
"Yeah it is! Excuse me for not bein Canadian haha"

"Not if I move back to California"

You ordered a pasta with some sweet tea and were definitely enjoyin your meal
"Someone's loving that" he teased
"Dude its bomb try it" you said pushin your plate towards him
"Sooo ... what do we have to talk about?" You said to him
He froze a bit as if he wanted to collect his thoughts before speakin
"(Y/N), I know you know by now that I like you, which is why I got in a fight with Tyler, he told me in faceoff to not fuck things up with you, I thought he liked you or was after you which made me jealous" "I hate to admit it but if you hadn't noticed which is why I usually gave you uneven tickets so you wouldn't bring anyone for you haha"
"I think you're Wonder Woman aha, no really I think you're an amazing woman, you're smart and kind and very beautiful, any man would be fuckin lucky to have you as his partner in life, and I would like to see if we are it for each other" he said as if he was relieved to finally get it off his chest.
You couldn't believe what he was tellin you but you knew he was bein honest. And you also knew that if you didn't you would regret forever.
"Sidney, I feel the same about you, and I know that if I don't give this a chance that I will regret it, there's one thing though. I know your schedule is crazy and all but so is mine. There's a reason why I don't date and its because not everyone can handle dating a cop."
"I know, if I knew I couldn't I wouldn't but even if I can't I won't give up so easily".
"Alright well..."
"I don't think this should count as a first date (Y/N)" he chuckled
"When's our first date then?"
"Tomorrow night, I'll pick you up"
