Savannah didn't want to fight with Dominic anymore, but it seemed like the longer they worked on the Bartholomew case together, the more they fought. Sometimes they worked together like they should, but she found herself more often yelling at him, both just frustrated that the case wasn't closed yet. Neither took anything said personal, they just used it as fuel to find Bartholomew and Junior. Savannah just hoped that they found them sooner rather than later.

The arguing with Dominic and Tyler not being around to vent to was starting to take a toll on her. She never realized how much she leaned on Tyler, even just to have a person to vent to, until he left for his road trip. She tried her hardest not to bother him too much while he was on the road. She spent a lot of time with Alex, since she had more free time with Jamie on the road, but even Alex was busier than normal with different photography sessions. So, most of the time, she went home alone and delved into her stash of Jack Daniels.

After several nights of Liam inviting her to go out for a drink with him, Savannah finally caved in. Her one request was that they go somewhere that she could watch the Stars game since Tyler was playing late on the west coast. Liam agreed and took her to a sports bar downtown that showed all the Stars game.

"So that's your boyfriend, huh?" Liam asked her. He knew she was dating a player on the Stars, though he had never actually met Tyler yet. She didn't talk about him a ton at work, but then again, Savannah didn't talk about much besides work at work.

She nodded her head, taking another sip of her Jack and Diet Coke. "That's him. Off in California or maybe Canada," she said. She was on her third drink, going against her own rules, and her head was slightly fuzzy. She couldn't remember if the Stars were still in California for another night or if they'd made the trek up to Canada yet.

"You sure do know how to drink," Liam chuckled as she finished off the glass and set it on the table.

"Well, sometimes you just need a few," she shrugged her shoulders. It had been a hard week, and she still didn't feel like things were completely back to normal with Tyler. He had left before they really had a chance to talk after their bipolar date of talking about his past relationships to ending up in the locker room having shower sex. Now there was just this unsettled question between the two of them that neither wanted to bring up when they were texting. "Shit!" she exclaimed loudly as Tyler got knocked to the ground from a Ducks player. He immediately got up and started going at the other man. Savannah didn't see Tyler fight very often, but she had to admit she found it pretty sexy.

She wasn't paying attention when the waitress came over asking if she wanted another drink, and she nodded her head. She continued to watch the television intently. She couldn't hear anything, but she could read Tyler's lips, and he was definitely pissed off as he yelled at the player from the other team. Savannah instinctively lifted the new filled glass to her lips, drinking up the familiar drink.

By the time Tyler got back on the ice after the five minute penalty, Savannah had finished up the drink, realizing she should have said no. Her head was starting to spin, and she picked up her phone to text Shea to see if she could come pick her up at the bar. Her grammar clearly indicated just how drunk she was. Cann you comme pick me up !

Fortunately, she had texted the girls ahead of time and told them that she was headed for a drink and to watch the game with Liam. He pulled her out of her thoughts, saying, "You need a ride home?"

She shook her head emphatically. "No, Shea is coming," she said, having just received the confirmation from her sister that she was on her way. She looked up at the television to see the Stars win the game, and she cheered, nearly slipping off her seat. "Shit!" she exclaimed, regaining her balance on the chair.

"Damn, Savannah, thought you were a drinker," Liam joked with her.

"Two is my limit. I had more than two," she reminded him. "But here, let's commemorate our outside of work hanging out and the Stars winning," she said as she got her camera on her phone ready and took a selfie of the two of them. She was sure she looked much worse than Liam, who was not drunk at all, having played it safe with just a couple beers. "And now everyone can see it," she added, as she put it up on Instagram with the caption "We do have lives outside of work #friendsss #starswin"

Shea showed up moments later laughing when she saw her sister. "Damn Liam, you get my sister drunk?" she joked with Savannah's coworker, who she had only met once before.

"She did that all on her own," Liam smiled. "I think she was a little stressed at work."

"Little stressed?" she asked, looking between Liam and Savannah. "She worries about work too much. Did you catch the game?" she asked Savannah, who nodded in response.

"Yeah, I finally got to see that boyfriend of hers. I was starting to think she made him up," he chuckled. "I keep telling her we can have a double date, but she turns me down."

Shea smiled at him. "She doesn't like to share him," she winked. "But, I'm going to get her home. Thanks for taking care of her up til now," she added.

"No problem, I should probably get home anyways. Tell her boyfriend she must really love him. She made me come here so we could watch the game," he told Shea.

Shea smiled even bigger. "You tell her that when she's sober and see how she responds," she said, knowing that Savannah would argue that she didn't love Tyler, even when outsiders could tell she did, as much as she would fight it. "I'll make sure she's at work on time tomorrow. Have a good night, Liam," Shea said as she helped Savannah out to the car.

Savannah didn't stumble as much as Shea expected, but she still planned on taking her back to her place rather than drop Savannah off on her own. Had Tyler been around, she probably would have dropped her drunk sister off with him, but since he was in California, Shea would be her babysitter for the evening.

Just as they walking towards Shea and Audrey's apartment, Savannah's phone started ringing. Shea ignored it until they got inside, and then she helped Savannah fish it out of her purse. When she saw Tyler's grinning face on the screen, Shea smiled, handing it to Savannah. "It's your boyfriend," she told her as Savannah answered the phone, and Shea went to find her fiancée in the bedroom.

Savannah dropped onto the couch as she said hello to Tyler. She wasn't expecting his voice to be so loud or angry on the other end. "What the hell kind of picture was that?" he questioned.

Savannah halfway sobered up when she heard him, though she still had no idea what he was referring to. "What are you talking about?" she asked him.

"You and pretty boy. Is that supposed to be payback or what?"

He was angry, and Savannah was confused what had set him off. She remembered taking a selfie with Liam but that was just friendly. Was Tyler really getting worked up about that? "I don’t know wh-what you're talking a-about," she stuttered.

"Are you fucking drunk?"

"Why are you yelling?" she whined, his voice causing her head to hurt.

"Fucking go to bed," he said angrily as Shea grabbed Savannah's phone and started talking herself. Savannah wasn't sure when her sister had come back in the room, but she didn't really have enough brain power to dwell on it now.

"Segs, what's going on?" Shea asked him while Savannah held her head in her hands. Shea was unsure if it was because of Savannah's headache she must have had or if she was upset about Tyler yelling at her.

"Shea?" Tyler questioned. His voice was still full of anger, but he was slightly quieter.

"Why are you yelling at her? Jesus. She's drunk, give her a break," Shea rolled her eyes.

"Were you with her tonight?" he asked.

"I picked her up."

"Was she with pretty boy?"

Shea closed her eyes, knowing what was going on now. "She was with Liam, yes. But, it was nothing. She texted me to come get her even. They went for a drink and to watch your game," she explained.

"Yeah, and that's what she was doing when she's posting all these pictures with her and pretty boy," Tyler scoffed. He wasn't buying Shea's story.

"Ty, she was just having a couple drinks. Why are you getting all jealous?" Shea asked him. She turned around to see Savannah curled up on the couch, already asleep.

"I'm not jealous," he said through gritted teeth.

"Oh really? Sounds like you're super jealous of Van and Liam," Shea called him out. "Have you ever been jealous of anyone before? When it comes to someone you're dating?" He didn't answer, so she got her answer. She was annoyed she was having to deal with this right now instead of getting to sleep, and she was taking it out on Tyler. "Get over yourself, Segs. Van wasn't off sleeping with Liam. Did she drink too much? Yes. Did she go home with him? No. She's not the female version of you."

"You're right. I am the one to go off and sleep with the first girl I see. Fuck if I'm dating someone." Shea started to argue with him and tell him that's not what she meant, but he had already hung up on her.

"Fuck," she muttered. She tried to call him back and make sure she didn't cause him to do anything stupid that he'd regret the next day, but he ignored her calls. "Fuck," she cursed again, throwing her phone down on the table. She'd have to deal with that in the morning. For now, she simply covered her sister with a blanket and went to bed herself. She glanced one more time at her phone and picked it up, sending a quick text. Don't do anything stupid, Ty.

So happy that she's not too hurt. so happy she told him that she needed him. he needs her too. it was huge that she admitted she needed him and for her to cry. and I loved that she called his place home and wanted to go to his house without being asked by tyler. love these two.
