Savannah was excited as the team had finally caught a break and gotten a clue about where Bartholomew and Junior were hiding and where they were going to do their next drug deal at. Dominic had come up with a plan to get Savannah on the inside, and she was pretty sure they could catch the duo this time and finally end this chase.

She had never told Liam about her and Tyler fighting, and he never brought up the night again, the two of them going on like the normal coworkers they were. She was grateful for this, as her and Tyler finally seemed to be in a good place, even if he had gotten her to talk a little bit about her ex-boyfriend, something that she tried to keep buried in her past.

Tyler was finally coming home tonight after being on the road for quite a while. She was surprised at how excited she was for this. They may have only been dating for a short time, but it definitely felt longer. She guessed that his road trips made it feel longer, as they couldn't get too many dates in while he was in town, and her getting in the car accident had put things off as well.

"Savannah, you good with that plan for Saturday?" Dominic's voice pulled her out of her thoughts.

She nodded her head. "Yes, I'll be ready to go." She was going undercover, something that she knew Tyler wouldn't approve of, but he didn't have a say in it, and she decided not to tell him about right now. She had informed the girls via text, and they seemed worried, but knew it was her job and there was no talking her out of it.

She decided not to worry about how Tyler would respond right now. Instead, she just wanted to enjoy the time they had when he got home. He wasn't getting in until super late, but Savannah had assured him that it was okay for him to come to her place, unless he wanted to go to his and get some sleep. They had the next night off of a game, so he had told her he didn't need sleep and he'd prefer to spend some time with her.

The day went by fairly quick for Savannah, who was busy at work, making sure everything was set for their plan on Saturday. She knew everything there was to know about Bartholomew and Junior, and she felt prepared for this mission. She heard her phone buzz, and she saw that it was the group text with the girls.

Alex: Van, you wanna come over and watch the game tonight? Shea is coming since Audrey is at that conference.

Savannah: Sure, I'll be there after work.

Shea: I'll pick up dinner, let me know what you guys want

Alex: Oooh pizza!

Savannah: That's fine with me.

Shea: Perfect, I'll be over around 6.

Savannah smiled as she set down her phone. She was excited to have a girls night tonight, as they hadn't had one in a while. With everyone having a significant other, it was rare that it was just the three of them. Her phone buzzed again, and she was surprised to see that it was Tyler this time. She thought he would be napping or somehow getting ready for the game that night.

Tyler: I’m booooooored.

Savannah: Don't you have a game to prep for?

Tyler: That's not til tonight. And Benny went to lunch and I'm booooooored.

Savannah: Well I don't think I can really help you from Dallas.

Tyler: What are you up to?

Savannah: Work…you know, like a normal person on a Thursday.

Tyler: You still gonna be up when I get home late tonight?

Savannah: I may nap while you fly in. What time are you guys getting back?

Tyler: Probably like 2 am there. We can just go to dinner tomorrow night if you prefer.

Savannah: No, I'll wake up when you get here. And just get coffee before work tomorrow.

Tyler: You want to seeeeee meeeeee!

Savannah: Stop or I won't stay up!

Tyler: You want to seeeeee meeeeee!

Savannah: Bye, Tyler.

Tyler: Seriously though, just tell me if you need to sleep instead!

Savannah: I'm watching the game with Alex and Shea tonight and then I'll take a nap while you're on your way back. Just text me when you land.

Savannah: Good luck at the game, and sorry you're bored, but I gotta go. I gotta finish up some stuff for work.

Tyler: You're all work work work.

Savannah: It's work now or work through the night.

Tyler: Get back to work, lady! See you tonight!

Savannah put her phone on her desk again, knowing she really did need to get back to work. They had two days before they went in on Bartholomew and Junior, and she was determined to get those two this time.

She worked through the rest of the afternoon before she finally left to head to Alex's. She got there at the same time as Shea, who had stopped and picked up a pizza. "Hey, you actually left work at a decent time," Shea told her.

Savannah chuckled. "Yeah, I've been looking forward to tonight. It's been a while since it's been the three of us," she told her sister as she held the door open to Alex's apartment building for her.

Shea nodded her head as they walked up the stairs together. "Well if you weren't in Chicago the past three years," she teased.

Savannah didn't bother knocking, but instead just opened Alex's door, finding her sitting on the couch. "I meant more that there's always a significant other around now," Savannah clarified.

"Hey, we're not the only ones who always has their other half around," Shea gave Savannah a look but broke into a smile. "How's Segs doing by the way?"

"Fine," Savannah replied, not really knowing the answer Shea was looking for. Alex stood up to go grab paper plates from the kitchen, and Savannah found the opportunity to change subject from herself and Tyler. "Alex, I'm surprised we're hanging out here tonight," she called out.

Alex came back with plates in hand and gave Savannah a curious look. "Why?"

"I just didn't know you even lived here anymore," Savannah teased. "You're always at Jamie's."

"I still have my own place!" Alex argued before surprising Savannah and Shea by changing subjects. "You told Segs about Jason?"

Savannah's head whipped around to look at her, while Shea's jaw dropped as she looked at both of them. "Van, you told him?"

Savannah clenched her jaw before releasing and finally answering. "I didn't really tell him. He kept asking me about my past relationships, like trying to get even since I asked him about his. And it just kinda came up. He figured out that Jason was abusive, but I didn't give him details or really tell him much about him at all. He doesn't even know his name," she explained. "How did you know about that?" Savannah asked Alex.

"Better question, why didn't you tell us?" Shea questioned.

"Because you both know I want to put Jason in the far distant past," she responded, and Shea let that answer suffice with a nod of her head.

"Jamie asked something about you being in an abusive relationship," Alex explained. "I guess Tyler didn't say much more than that, and I told Jamie that it's in the past and we don't really want to bring it up," she told her. "I just think it's huge you told Segs."

"Like I said, I didn't really offer up anything," Savannah told them, taking a big bite of her slice of pizza so she didn't have to talk anymore about it.

"You know if Ty did figure out who he was, Jason would be a dead man," Shea spoke up.

"That man is so protective of you. Like when he freaked out about you having a drink with Liam. I never knew he got jealous like that," Shea said with a laugh.

"He's fallen hard for you, Van," Alex agreed.

"Why are we talking about him?" Savannah asked, wanting the attention off of her relationship. "It's girls night!"

"Yes, exactly, it's girls night, so we talk about our relationships and stuff," Shea chuckled.

"Then let's talk about yours! Have you and Audrey figured out a date for the wedding yet?" Savannah asked.

Shea laughed. "Don't you think you two would know if we had a date?"

"What are you waiting on?" Alex asked.

"We're actually going to look at this place this weekend that's like Audrey's dream place to get married, and we'll probably pick a day based on when they're available. So it's probably gonna be like three years away," she said.

Alex grinned. "Ahhh I'm so excited for you two to get married!" she exclaimed.

"When is it your turn?" Savannah asked her.

"Jeez, you sound like your boyfriend," Alex rolled her eyes. Savannah looked over at her curiously. "Segs was saying the same thing to Jamie, but I really just don't think it's going to happen anytime soon. We haven't even talked about marriage or anything," she shrugged her shoulders.

"Well you two are happy already, so it's just a title change," Shea replied.

Alex nodded her head as she grabbed the remote and changed the channel to the one that would show the Stars game. With them being on the west coast, the game wouldn't start til late. They were showing highlights from the last game, even though the team lost. "I'll be happy when they're home," Alex commented as her boyfriend was shown on the screen.

"You two are so attached to your boyfriends," Shea jokingly rolled her eyes.

"Says the one of us that is living with their significant other!" Savannah called her out.

"Hey! Both of you stay with your boyfriends pretty much every night they're home!" Shea retorted. "You even just said you forgot Alex had her own place. And Van, you seem to stay at Segs' every night, and you two just got together!"

Savannah couldn't even argue with that point, especially since Tyler was going to come over to her place when he got back later that evening. "Shouldn't we just all celebrate that we're all in good relationships right now?"

"I think we toast to that!" Alex said, standing up to get some drinks for the three girls.

"Yeah, celebrate while we can, because fifty bucks says Segs flips out when Van tells him she's going undercover to catch that duo," Shea added.

"Shit, I forgot you haven't told him that," Alex said, coming back with a bottle of wine for her and Shea along with Savannah's precious Jack Daniels and a can of Diet Coke. "Shea's right, he is going to flip out."

"Well he doesn't get a say in what I do for my job," Savannah said sternly.

"Oh, I think we all know that," Shea laughed. "Doesn't mean he won't still try to have a say," she added.

"Can we just forget about that for now?"

"There's a lot you don't want to talk about tonight, Van," Shea replied.

Savannah sighed. "I just want to have a good time because we haven't had a girls night in forever."

"Van's right, let's just move on and talk about something important, like when we're going wedding dress shopping, Shea!" Alex said, helping Savannah out. Savannah gave her a small, grateful smile, as the conversation shifted over to what kind of dress Shea wanted and where they could go to try on dresses.

She wanted to talk about anything besides the fact that Tyler was bound to be pissed when he found out she was going undercover. She'd deal with that when the time came, and if it were up to her, it'd never come up.

So happy that she's not too hurt. so happy she told him that she needed him. he needs her too. it was huge that she admitted she needed him and for her to cry. and I loved that she called his place home and wanted to go to his house without being asked by tyler. love these two.
