Chapter 3
"Oh come on Lexi, it'll be fun!" Tyler said as he tried to convince me to ride the American Eagle roller coaster.
"No Tyler," I said forcefully.
"But if you do.... I'll give you a reward..." he trailed off with a smirk.
"Tyler, why do you make this so fucking impossible?" I asked, annoyed.
"Please! I won't beg you ever again to go on a roller coaster!" he said.
"Oh ya right!" I said as I rolled my eyes.
"I will!"
"Fine... But you're gonna regret it when I scream in your ear." I say with a sigh as we got in line.
It was 8:30 and the park closed in thirty minutes, so Tyler dragged me to the first thing he could think of. A roller coaster. And it's a known fact that I despise roller coasters and refuse to go on them.
When we got in our cart, my stomach did flips and I gulped, finsing it hard to breath. "Tyler- I don't want to do this..." I said as I went to unbuckle myselves, but just then we started moving.
I curled into his side like a little girl and watched him with wide puppy eyes.
"Don't- please don't- shit. Why do you have to do those puppy eyes?!" he asked as we started up the hill.
I culdn't answer.
Ever felt like your trapped and you can't get out and you start to panic? That's what I felt like as we climbed higher.
I let out and un-human whimper when we reached the top and I clutched Tyler tightly.
"For playing hockey, you sure are- WOOHOO!!!"
He screamed as we lunged forward and went straight down.
I just straight out screamed and clutched my seat so tightly, I could feel it tear slightly.
"TYLER!" I screamed as I felt my stomach fly up into my throat.
The carts were going up wuick;y before they curved to the left, to the right, went upside down a few times as it curved, and we were back to where we started in no time.
I jumped out and clutched onto the railing with a death grip. Tyler came out lauging, but he stopped when he saw me.
"Damn... that probably wasn't a good idea...It looks like you just saw a ghost, you're so pale!" he exclaimed before he put his arm around me and helped me walk to a bench.
I sat down the minute we reached the bench and Tyler asked, "You need water?" i figured I couldn't keep anything in my stomach, so I nodded a no. I was shaking so badly, and my heart was racing like I had just run a hunred mile marathon in under a minute.
Tyler helped me up after a minute and we walked back to his car.
"Want to stay at my place?" he asked, and I shrugged. "Okay then... lookes like a yes." he said as he started the car up and and we drove back to his place.
When we got there Tyler just picked me up and carried me to his bed.
I don't remeber anything after that, except falling into a deep dreamless sleep.
