*April's POV*
I grabbed Logan's hand and led him towards the table when I noticed my brother wave us over. “Hey, sis over here!” he called out.He was seated beside Phil at a table with Cody, Mandi, Dion, Elisha, Lupul, Jake and JVR.
“Hey guys.” I greeted them as they all got up to give me a hug.
“Glad to see you could make it.” James said as I took a seat beside him, I turned to see him flash his pearly whites, and again I had the same feeling I got when he showed up yesterday.
“So April who's your friend?” Elisha said from across the table with a wink.
“Elisha this is Logan, Logan meet Elisha, Dion's wife.” I said introducing the two.
Just then a waiter came over to take our orders.
“Welcome to the Keg, what can I get for you on this fine evening.” He said smiling.
We all agreed that we wanted steak and then came time to order the drinks.
“I think the guys are cool with a beer, you cool with a beer Logan?” My brother said looking over at Logan who nodded in agreement.
“I'm gonna order red wine” Elisha said as the waiter noted down her order.
“I'll have the same” Mandi announced.
“And a wine for you ma'am?” The waiter asked turning to me.
“Oh no wine for me thanks, I'll have a coke.” I replied. And with that he left.
“You have something against wine?” James asked, when I turned around he was giving me a weird look.
“No, I just don't drink.” I replied a bit defensively.
“April's never touched a drop of alcohol her entire life.” Tyler elaborated for me.
“Yeah and I don't plan to.” I said.
“You sure Tyler's your brother?” James joked cocking his head to one side and giving me a goofy grin causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach, while Tyler stuck his tongue out at him as everyone laughed.
My attention was torn from James's face by someone getting up on a stage a few feet from us and speaking into a microphone.
“We want to thank everyone for coming out tonight, who's having a good time!” The tall middle aged man said into the microphone, as the crowd cheered in response.
“Alright we want to try something new here at the Keg,” The man started “Every weekend were going to have something called SFC which stands for 'Sing For Change' and we want to try to raise as much money as we can, so for every performance we ask that if you enjoyed it to put 1 dollar in this box, all the money will be donated to a different charity every month.” He finished, holding up the box for everyone to see.
“So who would like to start us off?” He asked looking around the room for someone to jump up on stage.
“April would!” Lupul yelled pointing at me causing everyone to turn and look over at our table.
I whipped my head in Lupul's direction giving him a death glare shaking my head no, but it was to late as the man came over to our table.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for a good cause but I have never performed for an audience before and I definitely wasn't expecting to tonight.
The middle aged man came over to help me up on the stage and on my up to the stage I shot one last glare at Lupul mouthing 'I'm gonna kill you.' To which he replied.
“Love you too!”
I tried to calm myself by taking slow deep breaths before taking the guitar that was onstage tuning it then turning to the crowd and speaking into the microphone.
“Hi everyone, My name's April and uh well I wasn't really expecting to be up here tonight-”
“Your welcome!” Lupul yelled from our table cause me to laugh along with everyone else before continuing.
“Yeah so I'm going to sing one of my favorite songs, and it's called 'All I Need To Know', hope you enjoy” I smiled before finally relaxing.
“You could read a million pages, know the words and all the phrases. You could try to turn a lie into the truth.
You can live to be a hundred, memorizin' every number.
You could even put a man on the moon.
And the science of the heart is sometimes lost on me.
But I'm following this feeling”

I started playing and got more and more comfortable as I got deeper into the song.

When I finished my performance and set down my guitar I was overwhelmed by the amount of people running up to donate money. Some yelling “great job” or “You were amazing.”
It was my first time ever performing for an actual crowd and to get that kind of response was uplifting and I couldn't hide the smile I had on my face as I made my way back to the table.
“You were great babe” Logan said wrapping me in a tight hug as I snuck a look at James to catch him smiling at me and winking when he caught my eye. Causing me to blush and avert my gaze so he wouldn't notice.
Everyone at the table congratulated me and when It came to Lupul I made sure to give him a piece of my mind.
“OW! What was that for?!” He cried out holding his arm in pain from my punch.
“You know what that was for!” I shot back
“And this is the thanks I get, April they loved you!” He argued.
“Yeah I guess your right, but if you ever pull anything like that again so help me god I will end you.” I said before hugging him.
And yet again out of the corner of my eye I caught James watching me.
