AAOOOSC! #1

In the CONSOL Energy Center, Sidney Crosby practices his shooting with his best buddy, Jonathan Quick.
Sidney shoots the puck at Jonathan. "Thanks for coming all the way to Pittsburgh for me!"
"No prob!" Jonathan catches the puck in his catching glove. "Shoot again!" He throws the puck to the to the side of the rink.
Sidney cradles a puck from the pile of pucks by his side and shoots again.
Jonathan dives for the save, but the puck is too fast for him.
Sidney raises his stick in the air. "Hah! I scored!"
Jonathan gets back up and takes a squirt of water. "Good job. You scored 188 out of 200 goals."
Sidney takes off his helmet. "That's not bad."
Then a beeping sound fills the air; it seems like it's coming from Jonathan.
"Jonny, are you okay?" Sidney asks with a confused look as he skates towards him.
"Oh yea, I'm fine--it's just the intercom..." Jonathan takes off his gloves and rolls up his left jersey sleeve, revealing what look like a watch lookalike; he looks down at it. "Oh...The master is calling."
"Huh?"
"Antti Niemi!"
"Ohhhh yea!!!" Sidney slaps his forehead a bit. "He's calling?"
Antti's voice rings from Jonathan's arm. "Sidney, Jonathan, can you hear me?"
"Yes, we can," Jonathan replies. "What is it?"
"We got a problem, a big one," starts Antti. "Philadelphia Flyers' best player, Claude Giroux, is now teaming up with one of your worst enemies, Carey Price!"
Sidney gasps. "Oh no, not Giroux!"
Jonathan makes a confuse look. "What's so bad about G-G-G--"
"Giroux!" Sidney shouts. "We two are rivals--big time!"
"But what's so bad about this problem?"
"Giroux and Price together can make a powerful team," Antti tells Jonathan.
"Well, they can't be together for long--they're on two different teams!" Sidney points out.
Jonathan clears his throat. "So are we...Sidney..."
"Yes, they can be together because Giroux is being traded to the Canadians!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Sidney yells.
"Don't just stand there and say 'NOOOO!!!'" Antti says. "You got to stop them!"
"Stop them do what?" Jonathan asks.
"Well, they have a mission: to take over the NHL."
"Whhhhaaaa?!"
"Yes! But first, they're gonna try to beat the Penguins by playing them many times to bring them down!"
"But they can't play us a bjillion times!" Sidney pipes in.
"That's not even a number!" Jonathan tells Sidney.
"Well, Carey has telepathic powers, that can manipulate the people who are in charge of the NHL schedule and make them put the Penguins play against the Canadians for the rest of the season," explains Antti.
"For the rest of the season?!" Sidney squeaks.
"For the rest of the season." Antti repeats.
"I'm doomed."
"But don't worry! I'll send my loyal assitant spy, Patrick Kane, to make sure Giroux and Price don't play any sneaky tricks."
"Who's Patrick?" Jonathan asks.
"You played against him a million times and he scored a bjillion goals on you--Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks!" Sidney tells Jonathan.
"Oh...well, there are so many people that score goals on me that I can't keep track of them..." Jonathan scratches his head.
"So, don't worry about this--Patrick'll take care of it for now! But I'll call you guys if the problem gets worse-- Oh! My pizza's here! Bye!"
"Okay! Bye!" Jonathan presses a button on the intercom to end the conversation.
"Oh no, this is not good! Giroux plus Carey equals defeation! I don't even know if that's a word!" Sidney is in a frenzy of worriness
"Are you talking about their hockey skills or their powers?"
"BOTH! Ack! Like what I said, I'm doomed!"
Jonathan places his arm around Sidney's shoulder and pats his back. "Why don't we just let Patrick take care of this while we eat ice cream?" They began to skate towards the locker room.
"Ohhh..." Sidney's eyes light up. "Okay! Can I bring Bubby?"
"Your stuffed, over-sized gorilla?" Jonathan shoots Sidney a serious look. "No."
Sidney sighs. "Okay, we shall have a crying session over ice cream then..."
"Okay...."
