That night in the CONSOL Energy Center, the Penguins battle the Canadians. The score is 0-1, the Canadians have a shutout so far.
Sidney gets the puck and goes behind the goal where Carey is at and shoots it to Chris, who shoots the puck into the net.
"GGGGOOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!!" the announcer bellows.
The horns begins to blow and the sirens wail in the dark stadium while the fans celebrate with the Pens.
"We can win this thing! I can feel it!" Tyler tells his teammates.
"We tied it!" Chris shouts excitedly. "Let's break it!"
"Yea!" Fleury skates toward them. "Let's do this without Vokoun!"
"Hey!" Vokoun shouts from the sidelines.
The players go back in place for the faceoff, which Sidney wins. He passes it to Tyler, who skates to Carey, but his shot gets stolen by Giroux.
Sidney skates close to Carey, but then stops.
You are afraid of the puck, Carey thinks to Sidney.
I am...I am afriad of the puck. Sidney thinks back to Carey.
Yes, you are very afraid of the puck.
I am very afraid of the puck.
Yes! Now go!
Sidney skates away to the center of the ice.
Chris has the puck and sees Sidney open to pass to. "Hey Sid! Catch!" He passes the puck.
"AAAHHHHH!!!! PUCK!!!" Sidney screams. He skates quickly to Fleruy for saftey.
"Sidney! What's up?!" Chris shouts.
Giroux skates over and steals the puck. "Thanksh, Kunitzsh!" He skates away with the puck.
"Sidney! Look what you had done! Ugh!!!" Chris skates away in frustration.
Sidney hugs the side pole of the goal. Fleury is tweeting on his iPhone 4.
"Kid, what are you doing here?" Fleury asks, looking at the screen.
"P-p-p-p-puck!" Sidney stutters.
"You're not suppose to be here." Fleury looks at Sidney, who looks very frightened. "You're supposed to be making goals!"
"No, no, no!" Sidney shakes his head vigorously. "Not with the puck."
"Crosby, get out there, NOW!"
"NOOOO!!!"
"Fine! Then I'll make you!" Fleury pries Sidney off from the crossbar and throws him onto the center ice. Sidney flies and slams into Giroux, making both of them fly into Carey, which makes the three of them get stuffed into the goal net. The puck that was being cradled by Giroux is now free.
Tyler is the first one to see the puck. "Ooo...puck!" He skates to the puck and cradles it while skating towards the stuffed goal and pushes it pass the line.
"GGGGGOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!!!" the announcer shouts excitedly. The horns and sirens goes off again. Now the score is 2-1, Pens in the lead.
All the Penguins, except for Sidney, hug each other and celebrate.
Then the second period ends immediately.
"See, I told you we don't need Vokoun!" Fleury tells his teammates.
"Hey!" Vokoun shouts from the sidelines again.
Sidney gets out from the goal and sees the puck next to him. "PUCK!" He skates over to Chris frantically and hugs him tightly. "Save me, Bubby!"
"Sid, my name is Chris, not Bubby!" Chris tries to push Sidney off of him, but fails.
"Yea, kid, what's wrong with you? It must be Vokoun."
"Hey!" Vokoun throws his goalie stick onto the floor in frustration.
"Sidney, what on earth is wrong with you?!" Chris cries.
"Don't get the puck close to me, don't get the puck close to me," Sidney repeats with fright in his voice.
"Why?"
"Because...because...Bubby, save me, please!!!" Sidney makes a scared face and hugs Chris even tighter.
"Okay...I think our captain is crazy," Tyler points out.
"Yea, worse than Vokoun, I sadly believe."
"Hey...."
"I think we should call the doctor," Chris suggests.
Sidney looks up with hope. "The Master...Nemo...."
"Wha?! The Master?! Nemo?" Chris gives Sidney a confused look.
"He can heal me!" Sidney lets go of Chris and begins to drift away.
"Okay, now you are really crazy!" Tyler tells Sidney.
"I better gooooo!!!" Sidney skates away to the locker room.
