Chapter 6

I woke up in the middle of the night in a fairly large room. I had no idea where I was. I got up and looked around. My bag was on the floor by the door.

"What the hell?" I said and walked out to the hallway. I could hear noise coming from down the stairs. I walked down slowly and peaked around the corner. Then I remembered where I was.

"Hey...." I said to Olli quietly so I didn't scare him.

He looked over his shoulder. "Oh you're awake." He said seeming a little surprised.

"Did you carry me in?" I asked.

"Oh, um, yeah. Sorry, I just felt bad waking you up." He said with a sheepish grin.

"You didn't have to do that." I said sitting down on one of the couches.

"It was really no problem. I'm just glad you found your way down here fine. I was afraid you were going to wake up and be completely confused and then get lost." He said.

"I followed the sound of the TV." I laughed I looke over at the screen of the TV. it was highlights of the game. "Just watching for fun or is there a reason?" I said giving him a knowing look.

"You caugh me." He sighed,.

"Don't worry about it! You just have to relax." I said crossing my legs under myself.

He closed his eyes and laughed. "You're something else. You know that?" He said looking back at me.

"Why would that be?" I raised an eyebrow.

"The fact that you are yelling at an NHL hockey player for overthink fun his game. That doesn't happen too often."

"It should. It's constructive criticism. Plus you know I'm right." I laid back over the arm of the couch so I was half way upside down. I was never one to sit still.

"If you are giving out 'constructive criticism' then you can tell me what else I need to work at. I am trusting your opinion on it. If Sid says you know what you are talking about then you must know." He said.

I sat up quickly, "You are over thinking again!"

"Sorry!" He laughed.

"You better be!" I said pointing at him, "Promise me something, you will play this next game without thinking about it and just going with the flow."

"Ok, fine. No overthinking." He said.

"Good. Also now that I know where I am, I am going back to bed. See you in the morning." I said rolling off the couch.

"See you tomorrow..... Lili." He said.

I spun around quickly. "I will kill both of you!"

"Sid is right though. It fits you."

"It sounds like a dogs name." I mumbled and shook my head as started walking back up towards the guest room.

"Good night too you too." He yelled up.

"Yeah, yeah. Goodnight." I yelled down the stairs.

I went back to sleep after changing into my pajamas. I was mentally and physically exhausted. It was great to be able to sleep a few more hours not on a plane too, even though I still planned on getting up for morning practice. Even though I might sleep through it.
