Okay, I shall try to motivate you! (These are the things that motivate me to continue writing my fanfics! ;)
1. Make a scene that will get you all excited and wanting to type it and share it, but in order to, you need to type your way to it (tricking yourself into typing a lot of the story to get to that particular scene)
2. You have fans! Don't disappoint them! Update because they are eager (including me) to read your story! :)
3. You can get more views by updating all the time! More views = more votes = more subscribers = fame (yea, might be a bit selfish, but it's true) And your story will be on the top of the tags you put for it and in the 'Browse Stories' section, so yea!!!
4. Watch movies or read books that are similar to your story (that motivates me BIG TIME!)
So yes, wanting to help you there since I L.O.V.E. your story and I want you to update more!
But I do understand that you didn't update for a while because of school because I went through the same thing and did not update for about a week and a half(finals... -_-)
I hope these tips will help you in some way :)
Continue typing and never lose your motive! :D
PS Thank you for putting my ideas to my stories--that means a lot to me 8)
@A Shruinger
I'm liking this. I might combine two of them. I did start an outline but it ended with her going to Montreal. I probably should do that haha.
Ooo! Ooo! Let me give you a suggestion!
Okay, so since that depression problem about Aliyah was brought up, it has to be put into use or else all the info is just useless...
So what about if Olli and Ailyah are like all boyfriend, girlfriend, but someone from the Pens doesn't like that, so he tries to separate them...
Or what if Olli or Sidney have like a really deep, dark secret that alter's Ailyah's view of them...
Or you can throw Tuukka Rask in there and see what he does XD Haha.
Those are some few suggests I thought of for you, but this is coming from a sci-fi/action writer over here, so I COMPLETELY understand if you turn down these suggestions.
And for a tip, to avoid writer's block (worse thing EVER!), write like an outline of the story that'll guide you. It does take some time and hard work, but trust me, it's waaaaay easier to type up stories when there's a guide of your story for you. Once again, completely fine if you reject it.
Anyways, great story, I love it! Continue updating it! :)
