One-Shots (2014-2015 Season)

Scene: Shawn Thornton is not proud of Brad Marchand's new haircut. He thinks that the pest should join the list for Cuts For Causes. I mean, look at that thing?

“Bart?” Shawn Thornton questioned, as he looked up at Matt Bartkowski, who was sitting on the couch.

“Don’t shave my head!” Matt replied, sternly.

Shawn heaved a sigh and leaned back in his chair. He surveyed the room to pick out another player to ask.

“Squirrel, what are you doing?”

“Don’t even think about it!” Brad Marchand said, cracking a smile, like only he could do.

“We’re doing you a favor! Look at that thing!” Shawn sarcastically retaliated.

“Dude, I’m a twelve right now,” Brad spoke.

“Oh my God!” Shawn leaned back in his chair, rolling his eyes annoyed.

“If I shave my head, I drop to like, like a nine!” Brad finished.

All around them, the camera crew cut off their recordings.

“Is that how you really want to come across to the fans?” Shawn asked, as the media people left the little room in the Boston lounge, outside of the locker room.

“I don’t like your attitude, Thorty!”

“My attitude?”

“Yeah.”

“So, are you really going to be stubborn and not cut your hair?”

“I don’t want you to cut my hair. I’ll let Bergy take it for me!”

“That’s not an answer, Marchy!”

“Bergy’ll lend extra hair for me, so that I do get my share in!”

“You’re going to do it.”

“Nah. I might have something that day. I have something planned for that day. I’m sorry. I’ll do it next year!”

“You’d better promise!”

“Oh...Marchy!” Reilly Smith sighed.

I did have this as a stand alone One-Shot, but to decrease the amount of stories and also bring these back, I’m moving it to the One-Shot story collection along with a few others, hope you don’t mind. :)

You may recognize the scene from Behind the B, the Bruins Behind the Scene Documentary Show. I found this scene to be funny and it worked my creative brain a little. I'm not sure if this is what really happened after the cameras shut off, but it could.
