Savannah sat on the floor at Jamie's place, her back up against the couch. She had been helping Alex arrange pictures to make a collage for a client, while Savannah told her about Tyler getting mad the night before.

"You can't honestly be surprised he responded that way," Alex told her.

Savannah shrugged. "I know, but still, it's annoying. Like how would you like it if Jamie came in and told you that you couldn’t do some photo shoot because he doesn't like it?"

"I get it," Alex told her. "And I know you well enough to know that somebody telling you that you can't do something only makes you more determined to do it. But, you have to see that Segs is just worried about you. It's coming from a sweet place, not a controlling place," she pointed out, while reaching over to grab her bottle of water from the coffee table.

Savannah sighed. "Well, now I'm just going to go in on this mission with him pissed off at me," she stated. She hadn't even attempted to talk to him today, knowing he was just going to keep trying to talk her out of the plan, but she knew she wasn't going to change her mind. She was going to go undercover the next night, and she was bound and determined to catch Bartholomew and Junior this time, and nothing was going to stop her.

Alex stopped working to really focus on Savannah right now. "You're really not going to talk to him before you go in tomorrow?" she questioned.

Savannah shook her head stubbornly. "No, he's being a prick. I'll talk to him after I get back so I can tell him I told you so," she stated.

"Van, I think it's a mistake going in without talking to him and making this right," Alex began.

"You know he's not going to just talk this through!" Savannah interjected, her arms waving all around animatedly. "You know he's just going to keep arguing with me and telling me this is a dumb idea. Well, guess what. It's not. We're going to catch these motherfuckers and he can just deal with it." She obviously was letting her emotions ride high, but she didn't care. If Tyler didn't want to be supportive, then she didn't need him right now.

Alex inhaled deeply but didn't argue with Savannah. "Just be careful," she said softly.

"I'm going to be fine. I always am," Savannah insisted. She looked up when she heard the front door opened, expecting to see Jamie, but surprised when she saw Tyler following him inside. Her head spun around towards Alex. "Did you tell him I was here?" she accused.

Alex held her hands up in front of her. "I didn't say anything!" she told her.

Tyler glanced in Savannah's direction but didn't even acknowledge her being there. "Yeah, Jamie, if I can just grab that charger, I gotta get to an interview," he spoke.

Savannah kept her eyes on Tyler, watching him purposely avoid looking at her. She could see out of the corner of her eye Alex look between the two of them, trying to gauge what was going on. And, within two minutes, Tyler had walked back out of Jamie's place without saying two words to Savannah.

When the door closed behind Tyler, Jamie spoke up. "Okay, someone wanna tell me what the hell that was?" he asked both Alex and Savannah.

"He's being immature," Savannah said simply.

Jamie looked at his girlfriend, wanting a better answer. "Segs isn't happy about Van going under cover tomorrow," she explained.

"He told me I can't go undercover," Savannah elaborated. "Like he can tell me what to do! He thinks he's allowed to tell me that it's too risky. Well it's not. It's my job, and he needs to get the hell over it," she vented.

Alex stood up and walked over to Jamie. "It's pretty fresh," she said quietly to him, though Jamie could tell they were still in the middle of their fight, not that Tyler had filled him in on anything, which wasn't like him.

"And then to act like a fucking child and pretend to ignore me. He needs to grow the fuck up," Savannah continued.

"Van," Alex began, but Savannah wasn't listening.

"He's gonna regret not talking to me tomorrow. When he's all worried about me because he doesn’t think I can take care of myself," she continued muttering.

"Van!" Alex said louder, getting Savannah's attention. "He worries about you. I know you don't like that, but don't fault him for that," she defended Tyler. Savannah was quiet, a little in shock that Alex was arguing with her over this. "He's not trying to control you, he just worries because he likes you."

"Well I don't need anyone worrying about me," Savannah spat, standing up and gathering her bag.

"Where are you going?" Alex called out.

"I just need to get away by myself. Give myself a chance to think," Savannah told her. And with that, she walked out the door, not even saying goodbye to Alex. She knew she was taking things out on Alex, who didn't deserve it. But, she was mad at Tyler. Mad that he was being protective of her. Mad that he didn't want her to go undercover. Mad that he was so concerned with her. And mad that now he wasn't talking to her.

The rest of the day, Savannah refused to talk to anyone, even Alex and Shea. They had blown up the group chat, and she finally told them that night that she just needed some time to think and she would text them later. She ended up not saying anything the rest of the night.

She didn't know if she would have been happier if Tyler had tried to text her, but she definitely was pissed off at him for continuing to ignore her. She went to bed that evening pissed off at everyone in general, even if she knew deep down that no one was in the wrong. She pushed those thoughts out of her mind, focusing on the case for tomorrow instead. She went over the plan again and again in her mind, hoping everything went how they wanted it to. She was determined to get Bartholomew and Junior tomorrow, no matter what it took.

She finally fell asleep nearly an hour later, being woken up early the next morning by her alarm, which she had set extra early. She decided to skip her morning run after seeing the temperatures outside were chilly for March. Instead, she went over the files once again on the criminals at hand.

She heard her phone go off with a text, and she picked it up to see Shea and Alex were texting her. She wondered why both of them were up, but read their texts anyways.

Shea: Van, good luck today. I expect a full report after you catch them.

Alex: We'll go out and celebrate with dinner and drinks tonight.

Shea: I'll have a Jack & Diet Coke ready and waiting for you!

Alex: Please text us when it's over.

She knew the two of them were concerned for her today, but she appreciated them being supportive instead of trying to talk her out of going under cover. Unlike Tyler. Who clearly didn't care enough to even wish her luck today. She cursed at him under her breath before replying to her friends. I'll text you as soon as we take them in. Thanks, guys, I'll see you tonight!

She set her phone down on the bed and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Once showered and dressed, she made her way into work. She walked in at the same time as Dominic, finding Liam already inside, ready to go. "You ready for this today?" Dominic asked, eyeing Savannah.

"I’m so ready to catch these assholes," Savannah replied in the most determined voice they'd ever heard.

"Outfit is in there ready for you," Liam said, pointing to her office.

"You call us if you even think they're onto you, okay? You know all you have to do is hit our number and we're on our way," Dominic reminded her. They had planned it all out. She'd have her gun on her to protect her, but if she thought she was in over her head, Dominic would cover her. Liam was staying on his computer the entire time, tracking where she was so they could jump in at any point.

"I got this," Savannah assured them.

"We're your backup. You use us if you need us," Dominic demanded.

She nodded her head. "We've got this," she said, walking into the room to see the outfit that was ready for her. She shook her head at the barely there fabric. She was also putting on a wig and enough makeup that she wouldn't be recognizable. She almost laughed, thinking how much Tyler would hate that she was siding up to Bartholomew and Junior in this get up. But, then she remembered that they were still fighting. Actually, Tyler was completely ignoring her and giving her the cold shoulder.

She shook her head, trying to dismiss her thoughts of him right now. She couldn’t focus on Tyler or how unsupportive he was being right now. She needed to be completely focused on the task at hand. And then later tonight, she could rub it in his face that she had been right when she told him she could take down these criminals. And he'd learn to never doubt her again.

So happy that she's not too hurt. so happy she told him that she needed him. he needs her too. it was huge that she admitted she needed him and for her to cry. and I loved that she called his place home and wanted to go to his house without being asked by tyler. love these two.
