Summary
Ekaterina was heartbroken when her parents told her that she can't live at their house anymore. Apparently snowboarding isn't a way of life. You can't make a living by it, but she's proving them wrong by going to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. This is her first major international snowboarding competition.
During her stay she meets plenty of friends, including two that have some type of effect on her. Evgeni Malkin is one to send mixed signals, while Mike Richards is on the other line. The hardest part about making friends is that sometimes they speak other languages, especially Mike.
