I Want Crazy
Summary
Paul "Biznasty" Bissonnette wanted nothing but the girl of his dreams, but he didn't do anything to get the girl of his dreams. In fact, he let her wither away.
Biz left the girl of his dreams in Toronto, while he played hockey for the Coyotes. He made promises to her that he wasn't ever able to keep. She stayed up on those late nights, waiting for the phone call she never got. After so many times of upset, she finally tells him it's over.
A year later, Kendall, the girl that Biz wishes he never let leave, is now living in Miami Beach, Florida. She lives nothing but the high life. Kendall moved to Florida in spite of her new job, a veterinarian at the Miami Evanston Animal Hospital. When she went to Miami she brought along her best friend and second in hand vet, Sarah.
Sarah, her bestfriend, tells Kendall that she has tickets to watch the Panther's play. Kendall thinks of ways to get out of it. She uses her boyfriend as an excuse, but it soon fails and she finds herself at the dead hockey game.
“They didn’t agree on much. In fact, they didn’t agree on anything. They fought all the time and challenged each other ever day. But despite their differences, they had one important thing in common. They were crazy about each other.” - Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
